Before I Die - Jenny Downham

Title: Before I Die

Author: Jenny Downham

Time It Took To Read: 6 Days

Plot:  Tessa has just months to live. Fighting back against hospital visits, endless tests, drugs with excruciating side-effects, Tessa compiles a list. It’s her To Do Before I Die list. And number one is Sex. Released from the constraints of ‘normal’ life, Tessa tastes new experiences to make her feel alive while her failing body struggles to keep up. Tessa’s feelings, her relationships with her father and brother, her estranged mother, her best friend, and her new boyfriend, all are painfully crystallised in the precious weeks before Tessa’s time finally runs out.

My Opinion: I think this book is probably one of the best books I have ever read. I love the way the book makes you feel her pain and feel like you are Tessa Scott. I would definitely read more of Jenny Downham's books! Although I could not read a certain chapter because it made me feel unwell I would still very much recommend this book to anyone 13 or over! My favourite part in the book is when she goes shoplifting with her best friend and they meet old schoolmates or when she jumps into a dirty river with a drunk man.

Mates, Dates & Inflatable Bras

Mates, Dates & Inflatable Bras.
Title: Mates, Dates & Inflatable Bras.
Author: Cathy Hopkins
Time It Took To Read: 4 Days

Plot:  When "Wacko Watkins" assigns the class a writing project about themselves, Lucy Lovering is not optimistic. Her parents are health food–loving hippies, her best friend, Izzie, has become buds with the knockout Nesta, and she just doesn't match up to either of them (especially in the chest region). What's a girl to do when her two friends can pass for older and she's stuck looking like a 12-year-old? But when Lucy spots the boy of her dreams and goes on a serious hunk hunt, she soon discovers that Mr. Right is closer than she thinks -- and not necessarily so dreamy!

Cherry Crush - Cathy Cassidy

Cherry Crush (The Chocolate Box Girls, #1)Cherry Crush by Cathy Cassidy
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Title: Cherry Crush
Author: Cathy Cassidy.
Plot: Cherry Costello lived in Glasglow and gets suspended from school. Her and her father go to move to Somerset where her fathers girlfriend lives. Cherry has great difficulty getting settled in the house. She and Honey, The eldest sister, are enemies. Honey has hated her since day 1. Honey seems to be a very mean and selfish character but through out the book you seem to learn alot about her. I dont want to say too much incase I spoil it on you. I do recommend it though!! :)

Love LessonsLove Lessons by Jacqueline Wilson

Some Characters:
Prudence King is the main character. Prudence is homeschool by her father, She is very artistic but isn't that way with maths. She wants to go to a art college but her father wont let her, Although she spends all her money on sketchbooks and pencils ect.

Grace King is Prudence' little sister. Grace is rather plump and she makes friends very quickly. In the middle of the book, Grace and Prudence have a row but the book doesn't say if they have made up or not.

Keith Raxberry is an art teacher. He is very nice to Grace and Prudence. At the end of their first day, He nearly ran over Prudence. Prudence and Mr.Raxberry grow very close and Prudence develops a crus on him. They kiss in the car after she babysits for his children.

I do not want to tell the plot incase I give away too much information!
